Blue C Sushi Mural

So the day came and went, Blue C Southcenter opening. It was a great event, friends and family of Blue C were invited to the Grand Opening, sushi was flying everywhere. Viewing the mural blown up to 5ft x 25ft definitely hits you more than looking at it on paper or on screen.
I'm working out the details now, but I'm offering 4 different versions of this print to meet the needs of varying collectors, and to make my work accessible to many:

The first two prints should be available to purchase online after the Kobo show on 8/15.
Also I've thrown in the image of the postcard for the Enfu show at Kobo, which will be held at the Higo branch in the International District.
For now I've got to get working on the screenprint version and the compilation piece that will be like a key to explain all the parts of this weird mural.
Also looking ahead a bit to September I'll also be attending the annual Akimatsuri.
It will be on September 6 (10am-6pm), Sept. 7 (11am-5pm).
Its run with very passionate volunteers of the Eastside Nihon Matsuri Assocation which is a non-profit organization dedicated in preserving and furthering the arts and crafts of Japan.

wow man, that is preeetty impressive! looks great all gigantic like that. congratulations.
Holy crap that's awesome! It is HUGE! Heh, that's what she said. Congrats man! If I ate sushi ever I'd probably go down and check that out, but I don't, so I'll just pretend I went down there and checked it out. If they served burgers though! Then I'd be there right now.
Hey Ken - good to meet you and see some of your work at the Aki Matsuri. I think the nihonmachi pano is just super sweet. would you ever do something like that, but darker and grimmer like the video game environments you make? I can't even express how psyched that piece makes me feel. I'll pick one up from kobo soon. Sean
