Well after a long grueling process I'm finally done with the 2 new prints.

Here is my new desk setup, giving me ample drying rack real estate for future projects.

Signing, numbering, and branding all the goodness.
Adding a coat of polymer to each piece, taking a day to dry, then applying a coat of UVLS varnish, then on top of that another layer of Matte Varnish. Each piece has 3 coats. Since I do these in batches this process really is a labour of love.

This is a picture of the prepped sanded block with its second screen of color.
3rd color applied.
I had to spray the transparencies with polyurethane so that the ink does not smear in the polymer coating.
Then I sprayed the screened blocks with polyurethane as well for the metallic platinum ink to retain its specularity after the polymer coat dries.
Coating each block in batches with polymer.
Close up of the signing process.
Finished product, its hard to appreciate the work that went into these pieces without touching and feeling the actual product. The matte sheen on the surface, along with its texture is really nice.

Near the beginning stages where I prepped these blocks for sanding and branding. This took all afternoon to accomplish, not to mention sore arms from all the sanding.

They are currently available at Blue Bottle Art Gallery, and will be available at Kobo soon.
